Hi, I'm Peter.

The idea sparked while preparing for a road trip to Norway's North Cape and a Scandinavia tour. The first concept was ambitious: a large, thick table that would store inside the car and double as a sleeping surface.

The first idea didn't work out, but my girlfriend suggested using lift hinges. That breakthrough led to the first Series 1 prototype: a base with tabletop that stays in the frunk, ready in seconds.

Frunkly is born. I found the name, set up the website and shop, and started developing the product. Brainstorming production, sourcing materials, and everything that comes with starting a business.

The road trip to Norway. I fell in love with the table. Cooking with a view in beautiful Norway, and a great conversation starter at every Supercharger stop.

Development of the Series 1 for Tesla Model Y. Same concept: a fixed base in the frunk with a detachable tabletop, slightly smaller due to the Model Y frunk size.

Marketing preparation. Taking product photos for the website and shop.

The first Frunkly Series 1 for Tesla Model 3 and Y is ready. Shipping out the first orders.

Brainstorming and prototyping new ideas and possibilities.

The birth of Frunkly LT. One of the new ideas worked out well. It dramatically improved production speed, allowing us to lower the price and make it more affordable for all Tesla camping enthusiasts. The table was also a lot faster to set up, making everything easier to use and more enjoyable.

Release of Frunkly LTX. The version with the bigger foldable tabletop that gives you even more space to work on.
